We believe that every cent donated should be accounted for and spent with purpose and intention. We work to ensure there are checks and balances and transparency in our organization’s finances.

Every dollar given to PvilleYI is put to work to help encourage, support, and uplift teens right here in Pleasantville. Since 2019, we have poured over $80K back directly back into Pleasantville through programming alone.

WE SHOW UP

When the community has need, we show up to support both teens and other community members. We have had consistent events and programs for teens and their families since even before we became a 501c3 in 2019. Building trust in the community has been and will continue to be high priority.

PARTNERSHIPS AND COLLABORATION

There are many organizations in our area that serve our communities in impactful ways. Before we spend money on a program, we consider whether a local partner is already meeting the need. If they are, we will create a referral connection or we will directly partner with that organization. This ensures that our community is not over-saturated with organizations doing the same work but not working together.

DIVERSE FUNDING SOURCES

Our team works hard to apply for grants and seek support from generous high net-worth companies and individuals. We live in a small community that is trying to financially support everything from the Fine Arts and Sports Boosters to FFA and 4H. We work hard to create relationships that can help support our work, without relying completely on our small town for support.

FUNDING SOURCES BUILT IN

As we look toward the future, we are creating sustainability plans that will ensure that our building (when complete) is self-sustaining through rentable spaces. We also continue to build up our team in such a way that when the chapter closes for our current leadership, a plan will be in place to continue the legacy and hard work into the future.
