Not for every role.
Many of our volunteers come with experience as parents, teachers, coaches, youth workers, or mentors, but experience is not required. We provide training and support to help volunteers serve confidently and appropriately.
What matters most is a willingness to learn, serve, and care about young people.

PvilleYI offers three primary volunteer roles:
Youth Supporters help create welcoming, organized, and well-functioning spaces through hospitality, food service, operations, event support, and other practical forms of service.
Youth Advocates serve as caring listeners and supportive adults who help young people feel seen, valued, and encouraged.
Youth Mentor–Coaches commit to structured mentoring relationships that provide encouragement, accountability, and support over time.
You can learn more on our Volunteer Roles page.

Opportunities for feedback and growth
We want volunteers to feel equipped, supported, and valued.
